+++Hi Barbara,

Only the softgel capsule (not the contents) contains gelatin, glycerin, water,

so the glycerin could be naturally occurring. It is a form of sugar but the

amount is tiny since it is only in the capsule.

Hopefully you are also taking Omega 3 and vitamin D along with the vitamin A in

the following amounts:

Vitamin A: 20,000 IU - 30,000 IU

Vitamin D: 800 IU - 1,200 IU

Omega-3: 2,000 mg - 3,000 mg (EPA plus DHA)

Thank you Bee, I didn't take D and Omega because is Summer here and I'm on a

Beach every day, and eat a lot of fish (daily) so for now I was thinking taking

only A..

Tomorrow I have to find the courage to take Nutritional Yeast Flakes because I

still have fear from anything that has word yeast on it :)

Kind regards

Barbara

+++Hi Barabara,

In order to make vitamin D on the skin there are several requirements, including

not washing with soap before and after, so check these out:

I understand about the word " yeast. " lol!

Thank you Bee, I have only one more question, can I use this Cod Liver Oil?

http://www.twinlab.com/product/norwegian-cod-liver-oil

(It's hard for me to order again from iHerb, the delivery and tax in my Country

is very expensive)

Kind Regards

Barbara

@@ Snip

@@ Hi Barbara,

Yes, that Cod liver Oil is okay to use. You can take 1 tablespoon/day and

supplement it with a separate, 10,000 IU of Vitamin A.

Remember to stop your supplements once a month, to allow your body to readjust.

Best Regards,

+++Hi Baabara,

If you take 1 tablespoon (3 teaspoons) per day you get the following:

Omega 3, EPA+DHA = 923 x 3 = 2,769 mg

Vitamin A = 4,615 x 3 = 13,845 IU

Vitamin D = 462 x 3 = 1,386 IU

Those amounts are okay for Omega 3 and vitamin D, but you'll need to take extra

vitamin A since the range needed is 20,000 - 30,000 IU per day. Ensure you get

vitamin A that does not have vitamin D in it.

I hope it's ok to ask you about one more product with Cod Liver Oil (TwinLab was

sold out so this is my alternative)

+++Hi Barbara,

You could evaluate that product yourself, by checking the amounts of EPA+DHA =

Omega 3, and vitamins A & D according to these recommended amounts:

Vitamin A: 20,000 IU - 30,000 IU

Vitamin D: 800 IU - 1,200 IU

Omega-3: 2,000 mg - 3,000 mg (EPA plus DHA)

IU stands for International Units, which is a common measurement of oil soluble

vitamins.

Note: that product contains mcg (micrograms) of vitamin A & D, so that is a

negligible amount compared to the number of IUs above.

Thank you Bee,I also found that they have a orange flavor in it to.. so it will

not be my alternative.. for now I wait with Cod Liver Old until I have next

order from iHerb

It's hard when you live in a Country like Croatia, we don't have so much options

like you in US .. but ok, I'm happy this is all working out :)

Kind regards
