I just got my latest shipment from iherb and my Garden of Life CLO tastes a tiny bit off to me. It had leaked alittle bit during shipment even though it was tightly sealed. The expiration says May 2012. > > Dana B. (I believe there's a Dana S. on here ) > +++Hi Dana B, The bottle shouldn't have leaked at all, so it could not have been tightly sealed. Call iHerb about any CLO bottle that leaked, and they will tell you what to do. Bottles that didn't leak should be okay. I find different batches of it taste a bit stronger, and that's okay. Guest guest
Okay, iherb is just going to send me replacements, but does that mean my leaked bottles aren't safe to consume? They didn't say, and I can't tell from the taste. Thanks for your time Bee. Dana > > > > Maybe I am just being paranoid, but is there any way to tell if your cod liver oil is rancid? Guest guest
*sigh* This is getting old.... iherb sent me another 2 bottles to replace the leaked ones... and THEY had leaked too!! Now I have 4 bottles that have leaked! The safety seals look 100% tight and intact. Bee, in your opinion do you really think they might all be rancid? I really don't want to tell iherb and have them send me 2 more bottles that will probably have also leaked. I'm thinking maybe this latest batch is thinner, to be able to leak out a little like that. > > > > Okay, iherb is just going to send me replacements, but does that mean my leaked bottles aren't safe to consume? Cheers, Bee
