Guest guest
Hi Bee. Whilst I haven't been tested for it again yet (the previous test came back negative, but that is not necessarily an indicator) I am wondering if the issues I am still having now may be due to Helicobacter. If, as you say, the awful gas I get must be coming from my stomach as it is coming up rather than going down, then I can only assume that the problem lies with my stomach. I will have to consider adding Betaine to my protocol - I have some, but didn't notice it making much impression when I took it before, but perhaps that may have been from not actually taking enough. It is gone 5am and I have not yet slept because of the constant gas. I do have some good nights, but this was not one of them. As I tend generally to eat similar things each day, I haven't a clue why one night should be so different from another! When my stomach swells up from the gas, my arms keep going numb, I get very uncomfortable under my left armpit and just feel horrible. I seem permanently bloated these days. It is frustrating because in other ways I am so much better and do feel that generally I have got Candida pretty much under control, and that perhaps my main issue has been HP all along. Certainly all of my external Candida/yeast/fungal issues are long gone, which suggests that my body has largely got the better of that, but this problem has got worse rather than better. I have read the article on HP. Do you think that upping my Betaine and consuming sauerkraut and cruciferous veg will be enough to vaporise these little beggars or do you have any other suggestions please??? With much appreciation for your patient help and support in the face of our unrelenting questions! Ali.
