Guest guest
Hello Bee and fellow members My Name is Aidan and I am new here and I guess I would just like some guidence as I'm not too sure if my case is unique and is all attributed to candida. I have not been rigth for 10 years and I am only young. I'm sure I do have candida as I have done the online test, spit test and over the last 2 years have developed a white furry coating. Although as soon as cutting out dairy this has reduced. I feel like the candida symptoms have only come on in the last 2 years I am 27 years old keep fit and always thought my diet was not bad (protein, low gi foods, grains etc. Not much sugar) For the past 7 years or more I have not been good, declining libido, tiredness, muscle weaknes, stressed, regular sore throat/flu. I am recieving treatment for my weak adrenals and mild hypo thyroid. My morning cortisol and dhea were in lower 1/4. Testosterne is also not high for my age its just average. Taking - 20mg cortisol - 50mg DHEA troaches Only change I have noticed with this is I can maybe cope with stress a little better and my head doesnt get as tight Below are my current symptoms - Dark circles around eyes - Often wakeup 2-3am and then fall back to sleep. Cannot sleep past 7am - Wake up unrefreshed and drained through out the day - General mood is down. No excitement or energy for life or to exceed in my job - Muscle aches in legs, hips, back and shoulders - Have absolutly no libido! I am 27 years old - Brain Fog If I do happen to have sex I feel very drained for the next few days with tight muscles aches and foggy drained feeling If I do have candida the only things that I think could have contributed was alcohol binges on weekends and stress. It has been a few years since I have gone out regulary and drank alcohol and partied. If I dont eat low gi carbs, or sugar I end up feeling really low shortly afterwards. Over the last 2 weeks I have cut out all carbs and I have noticed it has reduced my brain fog, however i still just get the drained feeling Sorry for long post.
