continued to have painful spasms, Since i have started eating healthier its

gotten better! My question is are there any cautions as far as all the fat

intake and not having a gall bladder? I know when I eat greasy foods it bothers

me badly but thus far, I havent had any issues But I havent fully began the plan

I want to make sure I wont suffer brutal spasms before doing so!

+++Hi Billie,

Welcome to our group. No, there are no cautions about having the good fats I

recommend since most of them do not require any pancreatic enzymes nor bile in

order for them to be absorbed directly into the bloodstream.

The only cautions when you do not have a gall bladder are:

When you do not have a gall bladder it is important to do this:

1) Eat meals at the same time every day so your liver gets " used to " letting

down bile.

2) Do not snack or have anything but liquids in between meals, since having

snacks or foods will confuse the liver as to when to let down bile.

While your body is healing itself it will " retrace " when you had your gall

bladder operation, and previous gall bladder episodes, but they won't be as

severe as you originally experienced. Just be aware so you don't think you have

problems with fats, etc. Here's more about retracing:
