Guest guest
No it is a very low dose of iodine. www.iodinesource.com is where you can read more. Steph Skiniodine Date: Saturday, August 1, 2009, 4:26 PM Hello group. Just rambling here for a bit if I may. I have always had the worst skin. Dry flaky no matter how much lotion. I know it can be a sign of Hypothyroid and other health problems.I used to take Synthroid but quit four years ago. just stopped taking it. It never really seemed to help all that much.I am not exactly sure when I started this group and the iodine. A few months ago at least. I just noticed my skin is suddenly as smooth and soft as can be. No more dry flaky looking stuff. It looks soft and normal!!! Yippieee. I was on the 50MG Iodoral and some Adrenal support. And one capsule Fla! x seed o il daily. I dropped the Iodoral dosage down to 25 MG. My heart was pounding too hard at 50MG and it scared me. At 25MG I seem fine. I know 50 is recomended.Anyway I have not been tested for anything. Nothing before has helped my skin. This is a dramatic change. A GOOD change. Since I have made several changes at once I can not say exactly what made the difference . Maybe it had to be the combination. But I am so happy to see it happening.Just reporting in on what I feel must be progress. Thanks Chris

Guest guest
Calcium Magnesium supplements wil strengthen the nails, also take some boron and trace minerals also will help., You may have to take like 6 capsules per night. I take Soalray, cal-Mag citrate. Take them at night before you go to bed. It will definitely help. Guest guest
> > Thanks so much Ed, I do all of these weekly/daily. The reason I am doing this diet is I have had chronic eczema for 10 years or so I thought. Does this mean my liver is crap and I detox thru my skin? This is alot of die off for 10 years. If I cheat on the diet does it show up 24 hours later? I had some fruit. I did notice when I took zyrtec, I was so tired, I stopped it. > ONE last question, it gets so bad I have to take a pain pill sometimes (loratab), does this suppress and set me back? many thanks, courtney > > > @@ Hi , Your very welcome. No, it does not mean your liver is crap or malfunctioning :-]] It means, for you, the skin is the route your body chooses to detoxify. When you cheat, symptoms can show immediately or later. It depends on how drastic the cheat and to what extent you have Candida. Therefore, as you can see, this varies in each individual. , that was a good call to cease the Zyrtec and to be able to recognize the negative reactions were due to that drug. Good stuff! In regards to painkillers, i.e Loratab, its better to use an alternative/s that will work with the body/immune system rather than adding to the burden it must address and yes, medications can slow your healing progress due to the additional toxic load. Pain or inflammation is a detox/healing reaction, which is sometimes an unfortunate process the body needs to go through to heal. Loratab is considered a combination of painkiller and narcotic, thus toxic to your liver and not the best choice, however, as with all advice, it's your choice. That said, you can use some treatments to ease your discomfort. [1] - Epsom salt baths to help detox & relax [2] - White willow bark capsules for pain. Similar to aspirin. [3] - Rub oil of oregano into itchy skin, but for rashes dilute 2-3 drops in 1 teaspoon of coconut or olive oil first (do not use on the genitals or in the anal area). When applied to open skin or rashes it will feel as if it is burning. It doesn't actually burn the skin but it does generate heat which makes it feel as if it is burning. , I sympathize & relate to your experiences with pain and general body itch, I've been there; 24/7 with little to no sleep. However, I can tell you, cutting out the junk that feeds Candida and following this diet program, will give you the most results. Moreover, make certain you are taking all the recommended supplements. Be patient, you will feel better. Just follow the diet program and advice as close as you can. Take care, Ed group moderator
Guest guest
Well white willow bark here I come! thanks Ed! That was a great answer and thanks for cheering me on because I am a stubborn cheater and want to scream out WHY ME! Do you feel 100% better now, it's so far for me to see/feel that. Another thought comes to mind, why is it that the most itchy spot is in the middle of my back and shoulder blades, the most difficult place to get to! I will tell you I used to smoke and don't know if it's my lungs detoxing. courtney

Cigarette smoke doesn't lodge in the muscles nor the lungs, so it doesn't need to be detoxified. Bee
