Guest guest
Hello everyone, I am 28 years old and I know I have a Candida problem. I am a black woman and I suspect many of my fellow black sisters are suffering from the same issues as well that are causing significant distruction and illness to our bodies. My candida journey started at 17 when mom put me on birth control pills. I stayed on them for 6 years and suffered with a ton of yeast and vaginal related infections as a result. I was too young to notice the relationship. I got off the pills several years ago to have a baby and low and behold I dealt with endometriosis of the rectal wall and chronic candida. IVF resulted in the birth of my daughter due to unexplained infertility. I somewhat suspected candida to be the problem. My daughter was born by cessarian and because she didn't get the good bacteria from the birth canal she had the famous early on set of colic turned milk allergy. I had to give up breast feeding because I wasn't discipline enough to change my diet and both she and I have multiple allergies such as eczema. I am ready to conquer this thing and also to start healthy habits for both me and my daughter. She is on hypoallergenci milk and I'm pretty sure going back to breast milk at 8 months would be a disaster to try. However, she is starting solids so I am trying to set up the best opportunity for her and myself to get us both on the road to recovery. Thank You for listening and all your suggestions are welcome. Sincerely, Angie
