Also, is The Wizard gluten free worcheshire (sp) sauce okay on this candida diet? +++Hi Cassandra, There's some good organic ketchup available at my health store, but I live in Canada. Why don't you look at all of the ingredients and see if there is anything in it that isn't allowed on this program? I highly doubt there is any kind of Worchestershire sauces that are okay since the list of ingredients for homemade sauce includes things like tamirand (soy), corn syrup, beer, molasses, vinegar, etc. Bee
Guest guest
Hello Donna, Sap contains (or primarily IS) a sugar, so no, that product would not be OK on this program. Sorry! The only coconut product that is part of the diet is coconut oil. andra group moderator > > Hi. I have a related question. I recently discovered Coconut Aminos seasoning sauce which makes a great sub for soy sauce. Searched the site and couldn't find mention of it. The only ingredients are coconut sap and sea salt. wondered if this was allowed on the diet. > > By the way I am a newbie just trying to ease into this eating plan. > Thanks, > Donna > >

Guest guest
Hi, I also have a question about ketchup. Sally Fallon's recipe calls for maple syrup (and some fish sauce if you want). I make this regularly for my family and neighbour and it's delicious. My question is, because it's fermented (sits on the counter for 3 days before refrigeration) is the sugar in it then neutralized or gobbled up? Thanks, Priya Oh, I also recommend her butter spread recipe - I replace the flax oil with coconut oil. Guest guest
Oh, that's interesting Bee, thanks. I don't eat the ketchup myself but my family likes it and surely it's better than commercial ketchup? Thanks for the info on that. Guest guest
It is for all of us I am a completely different person now than I was when I started the diet almost two years ago. Take heart, it gets easier as you go along! andra Group moderator > > Thanks for your response andra.
