Both the coconut milk and flour are too high in carbohydrates to be included in this program. Hope this was of some assistance. Guest guest
Coconut milk is not high in carbs! My can of coconut milk has 5g in it. That's not high. I'm using coconut milk on this program, I see no problem with it. I dont know about coconut flour though. > > > > Hi, > > Are these allowed in Bee's diet. It is also the reason that is a processed commercial dairy substitutes which contains " Bad " oils and Fats, and other unacceptable ingredients. Thus, why it is not allowed on Bee's program. This is listed under the " Candida Diet No-No " foods list not allowed/included on this program. See the link below and scroll to " Dairy Substitutes " . Guest guest
Hello, thank-you for the info . I am still arguing for my coconut milk though haha... my coconut milk ingredients say: pure organic coconut extract, water and guarm gum (less than 1%). Is it in the way it's processed or something?? I just dont see whats wrong with it. Also I have Organic chicken broth in my cupboard, ingredients: Water, organic onions, organic celery, organic carrots (I know carrots arent allowed, however the nutrition info says 1g of sugar per cup and 2g of carbs per cup), organic chicken, natural chicken flavour, organic spices, sea salt. Does this look okay? I'm asking because I dont have time to make my own chicken broth. Thank-you. > > > > > @@ Snip > > > @@ Hi Taryn, > > With coconut milk its not just the carbohydrate that is the issue. > > It is also the reason that is a processed commercial dairy substitutes which contains " Bad " oils and Fats, and other unacceptable ingredients. Natural flavors and spices can be misleading since that's how companies hide a lot of bad stuff like MSG. This program works exactly as written for everyone IF it is followed carefully. Guest guest
Bee, Thank-you for getting back to me on all of my questions . I really appreciate it. I know " natural flavour " can be a bad thing , I guess I just assume that a company who uses organic ingredients would know better. Usually what I do in that situation is call the company and tell them I have a SEVERE allergy to MSG and I need to know if their ingredients contain it... hehe works well! They dont want to be sued! Anyway, I have a couple concerns about being on this diet: 1: Going on vacation, especially with other people who will be cooking you food or going out for dinners and what not (I am going to be staying with my boyfriend's family in BC for 5 days, and am also going to a wedding...). What do I doooo?? I dont want to seem lik ethe annoying girl with dietary " needs " , I already annoy people enough (I am a healthy eater already and refused to eat crap). 2: I dont understand how people stick to this diet for so long without accidentally cheating. Will accidentally ingesting some sugar set me back? > > > > Hello, thank-you for the info . > > > > I am still arguing for my coconut milk though haha... my coconut milk ingredients say: pure organic coconut extract, water and guarm gum (less than 1%). So I soaked some seeds for like 8 hours and it took them a really long time to dry. Like 24 hours. The sunflower seeds kind of turned a brown colour after drying and the pumpkin seeds stayed normal looking. Is it normal for the seeds/nuts to change colour after drying? Just curious, because the sunflower seeds look weird. Thanks, Taryn

Ensure you are using non-chlorinated water for soaking. Bee
