Hi Faye,

Welcome to Bee's forum! It's great that you've been able to find us.

I used to be a vegetarian for 16 years prior to starting Bee's program nearly

two years ago, so I have some idea of what you must be going through at this

point.

If you have vaginal yeast infections, it's safe to assume that you have a

Candida overgrowth and you need to address that in order to get rid of your

vaginal problems.

I understand that people are vegetarians for different reasons, but you should

know that a vegetarian diet is really a high carb diet because any foods not

classified as protein or fat are, in fact, a carbohydrate. We know that eating

carbs isn't good for us, so this is definitely something that you need to

change.

The best thing you can do is to read so that you understand Candida, and know

what you need to do and why. These two articles are the first place to start:

How to Successfully Overcome Candida

Curing Candida, How to Get Started

I recognize that people are vegetarians for different reasons. Mine was because

I had a strong aversion to meat (it grossed me out) and my husband wanted to be

kind to animals, but I would encourage you to read this with an open-mind and

see if anything rings true for you. I was so sick for those 16 years I was a

vegetarian and continued into a downward spiral. I am now finally getting my

life and my health back and I regret not doing something about it sooner.

For encouragement and inspiration see these wonderful Success Stories by members

Once you've had a read through these articles, let us know if you have any

questions.

All the best,

after birth it was noted that I had slight rectecle and a high vaginal

infection. Since takin the course of strong antibiotic I have had vaginal

candida; very heavy discharge daily. No cream, pessaries or tablets make any

difference. I have had numerous swabs and blood tests. They show I only have

candida vaginally but I have felt at times incredibly weary, grumpy and achy. At

times I often feel more full of life during my menstrual cyle than the rest of

the month. I thought I had a healthy diet, no alcohol, only drink water. I am

vegetarian & do eat tofu, I also eat canned pulses, which are in salted water.

Are all these food items contributing to my candida. I am now contemplating

following your candida diet and appreciate any input or experience members have

had.
