Guest guest
Hi. Within the last 2 years, my husband has been diagnosed with ABPA (allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillus), in which he has allergic reactions (ie. sinus issues & asthma/coughing spells) to the mold (aspergillus) he presumably carries in his lungs. We are looking at this diet in order to " starve off " the fungus in his body. One of my questions is are there any recomendations on discontinuing medications? He is on a couple inhalers (Asmanex & Foradil) & predisone every other day. Should he try to go cold turkey, or gradually wean himself off? We also are trying to determine how we will know if he is getting better or worse. I know Bee teaches that these healing foods will heal, so just keep at it, but how long should it take to see the benefits? I am quite worried about the die-off as we had some very bad weeks when he was off all his meds last fall. (He couldn't walk up the driveway without being totally winded & missed days of work...very sick.) Those are a couple of our initial questions. Thanks--Fawn
