Guest guest
Peggy, Oh, what sad news.....I am so sorry to hear that this is happening to you, and yes, I believe, and I will pray for your family, and for your husband's new job. This is the last thing you both needed, and my heart aches for you. I wish I could say that I am not surprised that you are not feeling so up to par like you were before, but it just seems so common among explantees to experience that dive at around 6 weeks post op. I don't know why, other than things work in cycles where your immune system is concerned, and your body has had some time to clear out all the anesthesia and junk from the surgery itself. It is a very up and down ride. I have been through it, so I know. The fatigue and total lack of motivation is devastating to deal with on a day by day basis, especially when you have kids who need you. Somehow, we manage to get through each day, and then look back and wonder how we did it. Kind of looking back over a rickety bridge crossing a dangerous span and thinking wow, did I just go over that? You can only go one day at a time at this point, and concentrate on drinking lots of water, eating only good kinds of foods, maybe fasting a little bit to clear some more junk out, and building your immune system back up. Don't get impatient, and be positive about your healing efforts. You'll get there, one day at a time. Focus on getting through the stuff that matters most, and keep your eyes on God--he'll keep your family safe through it all. I pray for a job to turn up very soon for your husband, and that this event will be a blessing in disguise....that he will find something more satisfying than he had before, and that the health insurance will be there for all of you. (Remember you have the COBRA option, right?)
