Sometimes you have to " pick your battles. " It is claimed that toxic detergents

leave residues on the dishes which can transfer into foods. However,

dishwashers do a great job of rinsing dishes so I wouldn't be concerned.

I don't know if Jet Dry sprays on during the rinse cycle since I do not have a

dishwasher. If it does, it shouldn't be used since it is less likely to be

rinsed off.

I use vinegar in place of the Jet dry in the dishwasher.

I just use baking soda. Works fine.

I don't put my dishes in dirty, then I can run a shorter cycle and I don't have

to worry as much about the gases made from chlorine and food mixing.
