I thought my nut-eating was helping me deal w/hunger but I was like you: they did not satisfy and only made me eat more. Like andria, it's just easier if they are not around. Also, having practiced fasting has been a real help in helping me get past the intense hunger waiting for MY meal while I prepare the family meal... Sometimes! Keep on persevering! Plus, get this, my local organic co-op here in Southern Oregon sells organic, raw, pre-soaked, dehydrated, salty nuts IN BULK! I don't even have to do the work! I'm off to the kitchen to produce real food now...
