I need something to chew in my mouth << I have been following Bee's pgm for 4 wks and have had the egg drink almost exclusively for bfast. I love it simply because it is quick to make and is easy to consume. My time is always short in the mornings! Generally, it keeps me full for over 4 hrs. The past two days, however, I've been hungry earlier but I think it might be because I consumed all the bad things on Easter: grains, dairy and sugar! Give it a try. You will NOT be hungry afterwards.
Guest guest
Hi Ina, The eggs in Bee's Egg Drink aren't actually raw since you pour boiling water over them. The boiling water cooks them slightly. Besides, you can't really taste the eggs. I used to have a very strong aversion to eggs. I couldn't even be in the same room with someone cooking eggs, so if I can do it, I'm sure you will be able to! ) I should have been more clear about the vanilla in my earlier post. We are allowed the seeds from a vanilla pod on this diet. Vanilla extract or vanilla flavourings are not allowed. In my egg drink, I usually use 1/3 of a vanilla pod, slice it down the side and scrape out the seeds from inside. If my eggs drink is going to sit around for a while before I drink it, I will put the remaining pod in the drink to get more vanilla flavour. Hope that makes it clearer for you. In this phase of the program, I could eat tons of everything (except CO...) all day long and still get hungry after awhile. I hope this is temporary... > > In the recipe there is also cinnamon, but said she added vanilla, so it may taste better.
