Thank you, Kathy Beck (Below is Kathy's original letter for those who didn't see it the first time.) I'm writing this in hopes of finding some much needed help. I'm 38 and have had saline implants since 1994 and a little over a month ago I had one rupture. I started to feel sick just two days before I notice the one breast shrinking to almost nothing. Since then I have had symptoms that include shoulder pain to numbness down my arm, chest pains (on a constant basis), dizziness, confusion, and just feeling like a bad flu that won't go away. I'm sick all the time. Somedays are bad to some that are real bad. I have two children, Jonny and that I have been raising by myself for the past 5 years. I had a good job until just before this happened. I was transferred and then laid off and lost all my medical. Then this happens. I am currently living on unemployment and in a basement apartment with my two children. I have absolutely no financial means of getting these implants removed. This scares me because I am all my kids have. And I have who knows what, running through my body making me sicker and sicker. The doctors tell me it's just saline, but the doctor's records who performed my surgery (he has since quit his practice) show about 8 different drugs added to the saline. I'm hoping that someone reading this may be able to help me. What I need is some kind of financial help, as I feel I have exhausted all other recourses. Such as a loan, state help, pleas to many different organizations. University's of research. I even tried the implant manufacturer, they just wanted me to replace the implant, which ISN'T even an option in my opinion. So any help of any kind would be greatly appreciated. Even if it's just a prayer, sometimes that's all it takes. Thank you all for taking the time to read this. Kathy > >
