Guest guest
Hi Bee, I have what I am assuming is Candida. I suffer from headaches, seasonal sinusitis, IBS, and vaginal yeast infections. I have started the diet and realized that even ingesting so much as a treat (chocolate, wine or fruit) during the past three weeks, will instigate the yeast and it actually came back with a vengeance. I realize that I need to stick to the diet religiously, however I am concerned that once I complete this process, the yeast colonies will come back if I reintroduce new foods...is this the case? Will I have to eat like this for the rest of my life, fearing that the minute I introduce a new food it will come back? Also, I have noticed that your diet does not included other fruits such as cranberries, green apples or grapefruit however I have read that because of their low carbohydrate and sugar levels they are acceptable in moderation. I have been eating them and still improving. Your thoughts? I have a slight addiction to sugar...but I seem to be doing fine without it. I really like having a stick of gum every once in a while. Can you recommend a natural stick of gum or something that I can eat other than a stevia leaf that will allow me to have fresh breath and enjoy that little sweetness. I know that the chewing of gum stimulates the pancreas and has negative effects on the digestive system but I was wondering if sugar free gum would be acceptable or if I could find a natural gum with stevia that could replace it. This is a little personal but I thought I would ask you nonetheless. When I am sexually my partner and I use condoms but it still tends to burn during insertion. I was wondering if you have found information that states that sexual intercourse (of any kind) is not recommended. I was wondering how long I should wait before we engage in sexual activity. If the bacteria is dying off will sexual activity exacerbate it? Im sorry this is so long, I just can't seem to find information regarding these issues. Thank you so much for your effort on this subject Bee. It is greatly appreciated. Kind regards,

You can't go wrong following Nature's Laws on Health. +++Yes, candida can occur again and again if you do not maintain your health, which means: 1) Consuming " proper nutrients " (diet plus supplements), 2) Eliminating toxins and foods that feed candida (they also feed bacteria and cancer), 3) Eliminating damaging foods, and 4) Eliminating toxins in general. +++When the immune system is strong enough it will automatically " make " candida (or any bug, cancer, etc.) change back into the organism it is supposed to be when the body is healthy. +++It's like the manure pile and the flies, with the manure pile representing the poor condition of the body. You cannot get rid of the manure pile by killing off the flies. You must clean up the manure pile instead, which means building up your immune system. +++However, your taste buds will change so you won't want sugars, starches, grains, and toxic damaging foods produced by the food industry. > > Also, I have noticed that your diet does not included other fruits such as cranberries, green apples or grapefruit however I have read that because of their low carbohydrate and sugar levels they are acceptable in moderation. I have been eating them and still improving. Your thoughts? +++Fructose in fruits are the worst kind of sugars anyone can have, since they go through a different route in the body than other sugars, and increase blood sugar yet don't stimulate the pancreas to produce insulin to lower blood sugar. Even healthy people should only have 2 fruits per day along with plenty of good fats to slow their release - see this article: http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2002/01/05/fructose-part-two.\ aspx +++All carbs feed candida (carbs are any foods not classified as protein or fat), however it is impractical to eliminate all of them. > > I have a slight addiction to sugar...but I seem to be doing fine without it. I understand there is a stevia sweetened gum available so search on the internet for it. > > This is a little personal but I thought I would ask you nonetheless. I suggest you use unrefined coconut oil for lubrication, or a safe alternative birth control method: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/res1.php All the best, Bee
