Hi,

I'm REALLY getting sick of the taste of Virgin Coconut Oil. It ruins everything.

The flavor is even stronger than garlic (which makes the taste even stronger as

garlic is a natural flavor enhancer)...

I used to take tbsps. of it directly but now I can't do that anymore, it's

almost making me gag :-(

Is there any way 'remove' the taste of it when cooking? Or maybe a neutralazing

spice?

r.s.

+++Hi Ras,

Wow, I don't think it is stronger than garlic, but to each his own taste, eh?

Coconut oils are available that don't have any flavor too, so you might try to

get one of them instead - see this Survey on coconut oil which talks about those

without flavor in them:

Mix it half and half with butter and/or spices for cooking at low heat of

course.
