Lactose-free milk is processed in order to remove the lactose, so it wouldn't be

healthy. Usually when lactose is removed it changes into another sugar, called

galatose.

The problem with digesting lactose is because of low-fat dairy products, since

the butter fat in dairy helps our bodies digest the lactose.
