Guest guest
Hi , I had to back off the CO somewhat...I was really quite debilitated when I started Bee's program and at first my progress was amazing. Enter detox and healing reactions. Woa! I went tooooo fast! I also stopped and started Bee's program three times because of re-tracing depression. That really scared me at first but I found out re-tracing is not nearly as intense as the original occurrence. I got my confidence back and began again. In the interim, I started paying better attention to my carb and protein intake, taking my blood sugar readings with a glucometer. I was able to see how the meals I was eating effected my blood sugar. Once I got that under better control, I began increasing the CO again. I found that my higher blood sugar actually had more to do with eating too much protein...even within the Bee's recommended ratios. I adjusted that and things became a lot more tolerable. I guess my blood sugar has kind of been my barometer. I'm back up to 4 TBS in my egg drink plus I cook mostly with CO and use it on my body every other day. I also consume a fair amount of certified organic butter, a little olive oil now and then, lots of eggs, fatty cuts of protein, halibut liver oil and my omega 3s. I have been up to 6 tbsp of CO/day for at least 6 months now. Since you're only at 4 tbsp CO do you meet your daily fat requirements with other fats? Butter, fat from meats, etc? Or are you still not up to your minimum daily fat intake? I know we're all different but just wondering. > Thanks and welcome as a moderator!
