Dear Bee,

I wanted to ask why cheese is not allowed for candidas? Is it because of their

yeast content? Because there is little lactose, if any, left esp for aged cheese

(from raw milk of course). Also acv is allowed and has good yeast so why not the

cheese?

Same for yogourt, it contains carbs ok but so do nuts, so why isnt it allowed?

last question: what are your thoughts on amines and sallicylates? some people

are very intolerant to those and feel much better when they avoid food that are

high in these, like coconut, fruits, some veggies, some meat etc;.

thank you

have a nice day,

Caroline.

+++Hi Caroline. The rules about dairy products are:

1) The higher the butterfat content the lower the lactose, so that's why butter

is the only dairy allowed.

2) Butterfat in dairy helps our bodies digest the proteins and lastose in dairy,

and most dairy today has low butterfat content.

+++People who have tried to hang on to their cheese, yogurt, and other dairy

products have problems on this program, so why fix something that isn't broken?

+++This program isn't more about the " kinds of carbs " so each food that is

allowed is individually selected accordingly.

+++I don't believe in isolating substances from good God-given foods and

claiming they cause health problems or that people may be intolerant of them.

Whole foods act differently in the body than isolated substances in a

laboratory.

Good unadulterated foods cause healing and detoxifying reactions, which many

people mistake as intolerances or allergies - see this article:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal14.php

Again, our bodies are designed to consume good foods, which are our medicine

too, in order to be healthy.

As Dr. Weston A. Price writes in his book Nutrition and Physical Degeneration:

" We humans have the same rigid restrictions regarding food selection as the

simpler forms of life when foods are evaluated from their chemical basis. " page

464

" Also, it is not necessary to adopt the foods of any particular racial stock,

but only to make our nutrition adequate in all its nutritive factors to the

primitive nutrition. Tooth decay is not only unnecessary, but an indication of

our divergence from Nature's fundamental laws of life and health. " page 415

All the best, Bee
