What is the best thing to put on it? Coconut oil? Fish oil? Olive oil? Another

ointment of some sort? It's an area about 2 " x 1 " and the top layer of skin is

gone. It seems to me that it should be kept moist, not left to dry out

overnight.

+++Hi Sharon,

I think cod liver oil will help, but if it is flavoured with lemon since it may

sting, or alternatively apply only Vitamin A or Vitamin E oil. You can prick

capsules with a pin and squeeze out the oil.

Apply it overnight on gauze and tape it on - save the gauze in a plastic bag,

and replenish it every night. Leave it off during the day so it gets the air it

needs to help heal.

Also give him vitamin C (1/3rd of an adult dose) and feed him well. :)

All the best, Bee
