Guest guest
OK, . I'm trying to get my iHerb order together and this post has totally thrown off my FCLO purchase, LOL. Can you help? You said: >> But if I switch to Green Pastures, I take: One teaspoon of the FCLO for: Vitamin A 7,500 IU Vitamin D 3,000 IU EPA and DHA 1,250 mg Plus 20,000 IUs of Vitamin A from Shark Liver Oil.<< Checking the link for the Green Pastures CLO, they say you get, for 1 tsp: Vitamin A 5000 IU Vitamin D 200 IU DHA ¹ 453 mg EPA ² 320 mg http://tinyurl.com/y4ewruj So. What are YOU taking that is so different or how have I misunderstood? Thnx!
Guest guest
Okay First, the link in the original post was NOT to the Green Pastured FCLO, it led instead to the Garden of Life Olde World Cod Liver Oil. So please disregard the numbers reflected in that link. In the body of the post we got an okay from Bee for the following: One teaspoon of the Green Pastures FCLO for: > > Vitamin A 7,500 IU > Vitamin D 3,000 IU > EPA and DHA 1,250 mg > > Plus 20,000 IUs of Vitamin A from Shark Liver Oil. (I bought Now brand.) The ratios are a bit different from Bee's original recommendations for CLO on her web site, but I think she thought it was close enough. This is overall what we're aiming for: Recommended Daily Amounts of 3 Important Nutrients: 1. Vitamin A: 20,000 IU - 30,000 IU 2. Vitamin D: 800 IU - 1,200 IU 3. Omega-3: 2,000 mg - 3,000 mg* *Omega-3 includes EPA & DHA. My husband and I decided to take Bee's recommendation for capsules during the summer months since we travel quite a bit and liquid CLO doesn't travel all that well. Here's the link to Bee's dosage instructions for the capsules: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/resource/iherb.php " Capsules - Life Time, Omega-3, take 2 softgels per day, and also buy Natural Factors Halibut Liver Oil, which contains vitamins A and D, take 3 softgels per day. This product is not available at iHerb but it can be purchased at many local health stores or other online sources. This product is naturally derived from purified and filtered fish liver oil, so it isn't derived from soy. Even though it doesn't state it is soy-free, if there is any soy in it the amount would be very small. " We plan to switch to Green Pastures FCLO in the Fall. It's kind of interesting to try out different types of CLO. So far I have to say that I think GOL worked better than the caps. I'll letchano how Green Pastures measures up.
