Hi Bee,

First of all I wanted to thank you very much for your website and all your

advice. I have been on the diet for a little over 1 month now and have already

seen improvement in my skin.  I have to admit that starting the diet in the

beginning was very emotional and difficult. I had no idea I had such an

attachment to certain foods and how difficult it was going to be to let them

go.  Just simple things like rice was very hard to let go of in the beginning.

When I visited the doctor he didn't know what I had but it basically looks like

a skin infection/fungus that formed dark patches all over my chest, neck, upper

arms and thighs. The growth seems to now be under control now and is no longer

spreading, but I do have  patches that are visible, but fading slightly.  (My

skin is not itchy or irritated at all, I just have these strange spots that have

been appearing for about 1 year. )

My question is whether there is any way for me to accelerate the rate of fading.

I've been able to get away with wearing turtlenecks all winter but with summer

coming up I'm embarrassed to show my skin.

I read somewhere that using Apple Cider Vinegar topically can help to diminish

hyperpigmentation and I was wondering what you thought of this, and whether I

should dilute it in water or just pour some on a cloth and apply to my skin.

I was also wondering about whether I could increase my intake of Vitamin A for a

little while, or if this would be unsafe. I'm taking cod liver oil once per day

and 1 extra Vitamin A supplement made by Natural Factors at the moment.

Thank you!
