Guest guest
> > Hello Bee, > I started your Candida program about a week ago by slowly adding supplements to my diet. From the start of the program, I took calcium from eggshells and magnesium. Today I started taking B vitamins with a separate Niacin (50mg, I cut the tablet in half). Within a minute, my heart was arrhythmic and fast-paced for a good 15 minutes. I also got headaches. After about an hour or two, my heart rhythms were back to normal...with a slight headache. I was quite startled and now wonder if I should even try a 25 mg dose of Niacin. I have taken the same VitB tablet (same brand, same dose) as in the past so I know the heart irregularity is not from the multi-VitB tab. Should I even eliminate the Niacin supplment from the Candida program? +++Hi Anne. Niacin (B3) is supposed to increase your heart rate, so that's not a bad thing. That is because niacin opens up all of the blood vessels, including the smallest capillaries. You got a headache because niacin releases toxins. So all of your reactions are normal. > <snip> > I was also thinking about placing my husband on the Candida program but he cannot live without brown rice, bread, and cheese, all I know are prohibited. :-) My husband is underweight so he needs to gain 20 pounds. Other than skin issues (psoriasis, dandruff), he's extremely healthy. He rarely gets sick. +++Your husband is not healthy if he has psoriasis and dandruff which are evidence he has candida! Psoriasis is toxins coming out through the skin. The reason he thinks he cannot live without those foods is because he is addicted to them, which is typical for any candida sufferer.
