Good source for Himalayan salt

I will agree, it's a great place to buy bulk salt. Don't buy the little weenie

retail jars. They have 5-lb, 10-lb, 25-lb and bigger quantities of salt which

you can buy at decent prices.

I had wanted to try the Himalayan sea salt, but the stuff in the health food

stores is something like $11 or $12 for a small packet. On some websites, it

goes for about that much per pound.

But at Saltworks.us, if you buy in bulk, you can get it for under $4.00 per

pound. The price per pound goes down as the quantity goes up.

I think the Himalayan sea salt tastes a bit better than the French gray salt I

had bought, and it's already dry, so you can pour it into your grinder. It's

also beautiful... the crystals come in colors that range from white or clear to

various shades of pink.

And here's a reason why you might want to buy a big quantity: For the rest of

2010, they are offering free shipping.

Anyway, I would encourage other folks to post about the bargains they find for

stuff we need for this diet. I want to thank you all in advance for passing
