Hi Bee,

I started the diet and supplements a little over a month ago. Currently I'm

taking only 500mg per day for the past 1.5 week and I'm still getting loose,

watery stools each day. Should I continue taking 500mg/day until I get more

firm stools? I was thinking about lowering the dose to 250mg/day and would like

to know if this will firm up my stools? I'm also thinking the loose stools are

due to detox (stools are mustard color), so maybe I should now start to increase

my VitC dose by 500mg every 5 days?

The following is a little background information on what I've been doing with

Vit C:

When I first took VitC, I started with 2g/day for 5 days because I had

constipation (I became an eager beaver.) My stools became very loose and watery

during each of those days. I was using the VitC as treatment for my

constipation and anal fissure. I felt great in the sense that my bowels were

being cleared, I felt less full, and no pain/blood from the fissure, but I

experienced intense burning, itchiness, and inflammation on my anus. (I applied

coconut oil to my anus.) So I lowered my VitC dose gradually in 500mg increments

over a period of 3-4 weeks and ultimately reached 500mg/day which is where I am

at currently. During this period, I experienced constipation only twice (no

bowel movement), which is an improvement (before I started on the candida

diet/supplements, my bowel movement occurs every other day.) and I no longer

feel the burning and itchiness. My stools are still loose, watery, and mustard

color. I experienced burning and itchiness when

I took a minimum of 1g/day of VitC.
