Hi Bee,

I was wondering if this would be better alternative , since the Natural Factors

Vitamin A now contains soybean . See Link below .

HALIBUT LIVER OIL - 90 SOFTGELS

Link : http://www.nationalnutrition.ca/detail.aspx?ID=260

I would take 2 Softgel and teaspoon of Carlson's Cod Liver Oil .

Thus , equates to Vitamin A - 20,850 IU / day

Vitamin D - 1,200 IU / day

iHerb does not have PayPal option and do not have credit card access at present

.. Thus , I purchase my supplements , local . Garden of Life , seems to be more

expensive locally . Especially at one tablespoon/day .

Furthermore , any alternatives for Vitamin E , other than Natural Factors

Vitamin E Clear Base or does anyone know where I get this cheaper , online using

PayPal . Its kind of pricey at $12.95 .

Best Regards,

Ed

+++Hi Ed. That product also contains soy. Natural Factors has been fooling

around with their supplements, adding soy here, there and everywhere, so it is

causing us a lot of problems. I must write to them, and I hope you and other

members will too.

+++Ed, I don't find that pricey, but I'm in Canada, so we pay a premium, even

when our dollar is on par with the US. :) Last time I bought Vitamin E it was

over $33.00 for 120 softgels. I thought I'd try it, even though it contained

soy, since Dr. Mercola, in his great wisdom, claims that soy oil in Vitamin E

doesn't cause problems for people. NOT! I reacted to the soy, so it's still in

my fridge.

+++It would be great if someone had enough time to find a good vitamin E that

doesn't contain soy. This is maddening, eh?

Best regards, Bee

What do you think about vitamin E from wheat

germ oil?

Natural source. Dont know if it would cause any

gluten side effects though, I'm pretty sure

concentration levels are very minimal!

Bee. I am confused. We should go back to taking 2 tablespoons of Garden of

life? I stocked up on  halibut liver oil pills recently.

What about this vitamin E? It is mor expensive than the natural factors E. But

is it another good option?

I just e-mailed the company to make sure that the Kal dry vitamin e is soy

free. It has no tween 80.  Bee has said that she has never reacted to it, but

I just rather avoid it if I can. The Kal vitamin e also has mixed tocopherols

which I think is another plus.

@@ Hi Marissa,

Here is the price below . Perhaps , one can search for a cheaper price , if the

" Unique E " , is a plausible Vitamin E source .
