Hi Tom:

Could you please try to remember to sign your posts? When I hit reply, your

email doesn't show and I often forget who I'm writing to. Plus, we often have a

hard time remembering people by their email addresses. Thank you for your help

on this. Now on to your question...LOL!

>

> Are tomatoes okay to eat on the candida diet? I see that it's located on the

okay list but a lot of other sites say they are a no no.

****Yes, tomatoes are on the okay list. This refers to fresh tomatoes. If you

get canned, you will need to be diligent that the tomatoes don't contain salt,

preservatives or come in a tin-lined can, glass is best. There are very few

packaged tomatoes that fit the bill, so Bee recommends that most people make

their own sauce/crushed tomatoes/ oven-dried tomatoes etc.

***It's not that hard. You just need to have a pot of boiling water, drop a

couple of tomatoes in for about 10 seconds, then pull them out....drop a few

more in, repeat. Now you have a pile of tomatoes that you can easily skin and

deseed. These tomatoes can be chopped, blended, left in half... and frozen for

later use or used immediately.

***By the way, Bee's diet is different from all other Candida diets. So you

will save yourself some confusion if you just use her list of foods and supps

rather than trying to blend various diets together. Feel free to ask why

something has been included or eliminated, but I would suggest you stick with

Bee's diet only in order to have results like her success stories.

Hope this helps you,

Thanks a lot for the response, Marissa. Yeah, I was talking about non canned,

organic tomatoes. I was just introduced to grape tomatoes and like adding them

to my ground beef, along with onions. I don't use too many, just around 10. I'm

really determined to over come this so I just wanted to double check. Thanks

again.
