Guest guest
Hi : Welcome to the group. > I've been avoiding eggs from soy-fed chickens. > > Does Bee also say it is better to eat commercially produced eggs rather than > no eggs? > Is there a link to this info, too, please? > **** Bee has been researching this and may have some references to give you. *** What I understand is this: just as we will have depressed immune systems from eating a poor diet, so the animals will have depressed immune systems from eating a poor diet. If I eat a diet of soy burgers, this causes my hormones to react, my vitamin levels to go wonky, my digestion to be poor so my ability to get nourishment is compromised, etc. So I am a less healthy version of myself. Anyone who eats me is not going to be getting the most nutrition from me that they could if I was on the Candida diet and my immune system was strong. ***Also, when I eat a soy burger, my body breaks it down into components that can be used by my body for it's many processes. I don't walk around with a soy burger attached, it has been processed by my body. The chickens eat soy, but their flesh is not made of soy, it is made of chicken flesh and muscles, etc that have been fed by components the chicken body made from the soy. ****Our bodies also process antibiotics and drugs and try to detox them. Detoxing takes a lot of energy and can take it's toll on the immune system as well. The animals also detox the drugs and this effort takes it's toll which can make them have lowered immune systems. Their flesh is not made of antibiotics, but they have had health consequences from getting rid of the antibiotics that make their nutritional profile lower. *** So you should eat the best form of eggs and meat and fish you can, but it is better to eat them rather than to not eat them. Bee does not ever recommend meat that has been irradiated or fumigated (carbon monoxide).. so you want a source that doesn't do this. And this requires you to check with your meat source, if you have any questions. ****Grass fed meats have a higher nutritional profile and the animals are healthier, but plenty of people have gotten better on this group without eating grass fed meat.
