Guest guest
> > Hi, > > I've been on a candida diet for two and a half weeks now (not Bees, but a similar one that my naturopath put me on). I'm just wondering how I can tell whether the diet is working or not? I haven't experienced any die-off symptoms yet, and I'm curious whether not everyone gets this, or perhaps I need to wait a bit longer? Obviously I don't want the die-off symptoms, but it would be nice to know that I'm on the right track... > +++Hi . Almost all of the candida diets out there don't help because they are geared towards killing off candida, and that isn't how you cure it. Candida, or any health problems, are only cured by building up the immune system, which is done by: 1) Consuming " proper nutrients " (diet plus supplements), 2) Eliminating toxins and foods that feed candida (they also feed bacteria and cancer), 3) Eliminating damaging foods, and 4) Eliminating toxins in general. When the immune system is strong enough it will automatically " make " candida (or any bug, cancer, etc.) change back into the organism it is supposed to be when the body is healthy. When you are on my diet and supplements (there are only 6 main ones) you will progress like you should, and experience predictable healing processes, so I cannot advise when you are on another program. Please ensure you read two important articles so you understand candida, and know what you need to do and why: 1) How to Successfully Overcome Candida http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php 2) Curing Candida, How to Get Started http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php For encouragement and inspiration see these wonderful Success Stories by members of this group: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php The best in health, Bee
Guest guest
, I am no pro, but I can tell you that I had no die off-related problems when my son and I 1st started the anti-Candida Diet. My son, however, was nauseated and physically ill on days 2 and 3. We had no idea what we were doing, but we entered into it radically...with no supplements beyond what we were taking. After 3 months on the diet we saw tremendous positive behavioral changes in all areas except attention/focus/impulsivity. I was able to give up my ADHD Rx just a week into the program. We went off the diet 2 weeks before Christmas and paid dearly for it with our son's behavior. It was a miserable Christmas! I only put our son back on the diet, but did it gradually...cutting off the sugar, and then the wheat, before launching into these waters again. There were no problems for him this time. Good luck.
