Guest guest
Hello : > A lot of your diet is not so new to me. I have an extra 10 pounds to lose from baby #2 and it will not come off and I seemingly have tried everything. I was thinking I might try Candida diet for that reason. When I take the quiz, it is unclear if I have a Candida problem or not as I not really symptomatic. I do have some itching issues, and dandruff for sure. And since January, I have this issue with dryness and redness around my eyes. The lids get red and puffy. Also on my eyebrows. Could this be a die-off reaction? > I have had maybe a little brain fog when I change my diet but I have done things so gradually, perhaps I have avoided too many healing reactions. ***Those all sound like Candida issues. This diet is also extremely healthy and will benefit anyone. > > I did not had any bad symptoms when I gave up all grains, fruits, starchy veggies, and raw milk in January. But I still have raw cream in my coffee and cheese and yogurt (just small amounts). I have no idea what I will use in my decaf organic coffee if I can't use cream in my coffee. What do you recommend? ***The cream, cheese and yogurt all have sugars in them which are feeding Candida, so you can expect to have more of a die-off reaction when you cut them out of your diet. There is a recipe on Bee's site for fake cream. > > I also eat coconut chips, unsweetened organic. They make a delicious snack. I think this is also not allowed on the candida diet. Am I right? **** Right, they are not allowed because they are too high in sugar. You can make frozen coconut OIL chips in your freezer. (Coconut oil frozen to make little chips, can add small amounts of stevia too.) This might be on the recipe site: Recipes_For_Candida_Healing/ or vegetable chips, which are on Bee's site. > > If I give up all dairy, except butter, how long will I have to do this? How will I know that I am " healed " and ready to start incorporating some raw dairy again? **** According to Herring's Law of Cures, it will take one month of healing for every year of disease and for many people this will take them back to their birth because they inherited a poor nutritional status from their parents and did not correct this through diet. Here are Bee's starter articles to give you a better sense of how this diet works and why: How to Successfully Overcome Candida http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php Curing Candida, How to Get Started http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php For encouragement and inspiration see these wonderful Success Stories by members of this group: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php The only way to cure candida: Candida cannot be cured by " killing it off. " It just doesn't work that way. Candida is only cured by building up the immune system, which is done by: Consuming " proper nutrients " (diet plus supplements), Eliminating toxins and foods that feed candida (they also feed bacteria and cancer), Eliminating damaging foods, and Eliminating toxins in general. When the immune system is strong enough it will automatically " make " candida (or any bug, cancer, etc.) change back into the microbe it was before. Welcome! Guest guest
Thanks Marissa for your response. > ***The cream, cheese and yogurt all have sugars in them which are feeding Candida, so you can expect to have more of a die-off reaction when you cut them out of your diet. It's strange for me, however, as all of our dairy is organic raw from grassfed cows and it comes from a farm and is very healthy for you. Especially the yogurt and kefir. Any of it that I do eat is in very small quantities. But I will try the fake cream or the milk recipe. > > I also eat coconut chips, unsweetened organic. They make a delicious snack. My coconut chips are 100% organic coconut meat, nothing added, from Tropical Traditions. There is .5g of sugar listed on the label per 1/2 ounce. I limit myself to no more than 1 ounce per day, sometimes only 1/2 ounce. They are not high in sugar and as I understand the meat contains quite a bit of coconut oil in it. They are almost 10g of fat per 1/2 ounce. Just wondering. IT really seems like such a healthy snack. Thanks again.

Any of it that I do eat is in very small >quantities. *** I also came to this diet from a WAPF diet and had been eating raw milk and soaked grains etc. These foods are healthy in moderation for a healthy person, however if you have Candida then they are unfortunately a major food source for the overgrown yeast. So during your healing time you cannot eat them without feeding the yeast. >. My coconut chips are 100% organic coconut meat, nothing added, from Tropical Traditions. I know it's " healthier " than what most people are eating, but you will find that you must be very strict about sugars on this diet because the yeast will live off a seemingly small amount. Bee's egg drink is a delicious way to have a warm, spicy sweet treat that is full of good fats and protein... this might be a way for you to curb your desire for the chips. I have it for breakfast every day, and when I was starting this diet, I had two everyday. I put the second one in a thermos for when I got cravings. Guest guest
I do love Bee's Egg Drink. I have been drinking it almost every day for the past couple of weeks. Sometimes for breakfast, sometimes for lunch. Didn't think to have it twice. Despite enjoying it, I do like to chew stuff and the coconut chips satisfy that urge to crunch on something. How will I know my Candida is cured? How will I know I am healed? Just by the disappearance of some minor symptoms I have, like the itchiness and the dryness and redness around my eyes? Could these be die-off reactions? I did stop all grains and sugar in January, with some very minor cheats. Thanks for the help. >

Just by the >disappearance of some minor symptoms I have, like the itchiness and the dryness and >redness around my eyes? **** It takes one month of natural healing for every year you have been unwell (Herring's Law of Cures) and for many people this is from birth. Here is some starter material to give you a good foundation on what Candida is and does, and how this diet works and why. Please ensure you read two important articles so you understand candida, and know what you need to do and why: How to Successfully Overcome Candida http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php Curing Candida, How to Get Started http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php For encouragement and inspiration see these wonderful Success Stories by members of this group: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php The only way to cure candida: Candida cannot be cured by " killing it off. You can't say you are healed when some minor symptoms like that disappear. Your body has much more healing to do, since you've had many health problems that led up to getting candida. During natural healing your body will retrace each and every past symptom, illness, disease, injury, surgery, etc. so it can get rid of toxins involved, and rebuild every area that wasn't healed properly due to a lack of nutrients, too many toxins, and damaging foods and substances - see this article to understand: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal10.php Even after getting healthy you need to continue getting proper nutrients, eliminate toxins and damaging foods, etc. in order to stay healthy. All the best, Bee
Guest guest
Hi , Someone on this forum mentioned chewing on cinnamon sticks. I bought some from Mountain Rose Herbs and they've been great. All I need is a bite of one...like 1/3 of a stick. I suck on it and then chew down to the numbs and the flavor stays with me for a long time. It's quite refreshing in the afternoon when I usually get sleepy. Maybe this could be an alternative for you? W _______ > > I do love Bee's Egg Drink.
