Guest guest
My chief symptom is rash, which seems eternal. It was biopsied and I was told it is not fungal, but antifungals in the past seemed to help. Last summer a dermatologist told me to soak three times a week in a combo of sea salt and baking soda. I did it three times and got progressively worse each time. It was a disaster. The last thing I need is drier skin, and I am afraid that the salts will only dry me out. I have heard that epsom salts help. I checked online, and some sites say epsom salts are not drying, while sea salts are; other sites say just the opposite -- that sea salts are not drying but epsom salts are. My skin is already too dry, and I am afraid to try the epsom salts. Any experience out there? I want to help my rashes, but it seems everything I do makes them worse. And I don't mean in a " healing reaction " sort of way, I mean it makes them worse. What is the typical experience with epsom salt baths? Dryness? Irritation? Infammation? Relief? Right away? After only one? After many? Thanks. Roy T.
