Guest guest
Hi Caine, Pardon me for butting in here, but I've been waiting to see if someone was going to address your thinking about fats and constipation. I have had problems with constipation as well at times, and wouldn't want you to go off in the wrong direction. It has been said many times on this forum that one can get constipated if one does not eat enough fat when eating protein. I'm not saying that is what caused your recent problem. But I believe it's a mistake to think that good fats contribute to being constipated, as you have indicated a couple of times in your posts. Personally, I have experienced that eating meat fat seems to move things along. My mother-in-law once took about 3/4 c. homemade vinegar/olive oil vinaigrette dressing at a meal and told me later she had had about 12 BMs that day. And that wasn't meat fat. So I don't think there's any need for you to cut back on your good fats for that reason. All the best, H. > > I have consumed quite a bit of good fats though, and maybe thats not helping. Caine...
