Guest guest
> > Hello Bee and group, > > I have written the group for advice not long ago for my 13 year old daughter. she started the diet on Jan. 6th and is counting down for feb. 6th when she wants to quit. (that will have been one month) At this point she is falling off the plan more and more everyday. Right now she is basically on a sugar free, low carb, high protein organic diet with coconut oil and other god fatty oils. she is taking some calcium supliments, vit.C, cod liver capsules. +++Hi Hava. That's too bad your daughter wants to quit in only one month, since healing takes 1 month for every year she has been unhealthy, which is probably since she was a baby. Even after that she must get proper nutrients and eliminate toxins and damaging foods or she will get sick again and again. +++She needs to take magnesium along with calcium, and also take the other supplements I recommend, since all of the supplements and the diet work together. She seems to be missing vitamin B complex, and vitamin E. Also she needs to be getting 1 1/2 tsp of good ocean sea salt per day. > I cannot get her to take ANY of the anti fungal oils unless I put them in a capsule. Is this ok? +++I have eliminated taking any antifungals other than unrefined coconut oil, so that is okay. > > she is eating traces of vinegar in her salads and has also had small amounts of 2% organic milk and some wheat products. she love to eat fruit and I have the hardest time telling my child she cannot have an apple or a pear. she cries and the stress isn't doing her any good at all! So I give in and let her have a piece of fruit maybe once a week. Is this killing the whole plan? Is it really all or nothing? How can I control what she does when she is away from home? +++Yes, sorry, she is not following the diet so she cannot progress like she should. +++She needs to become more educated and involved in her own health. The question IS, does she want to get well/healthy? She can cheat with one thing once a week without it interfering greatly. +++People who get healthy follow the program as it is, but all supplements are important too - there are only 6 plus unrefined coconut oil and ocean sea salt. > She complained about headaches and sluggishness at first and I figured they were die-offs. they went away and haven't returned. Other than that it is hard to tell if she is healing at all. She has a skin discoloration or loss of pigment. we are looking for color to return. It seems like it may be, but then maybe I am just hopeful. +++Healing takes time, patience and persistence in following the program accurately. Any previous symptoms, diseases, injuries she had will be " retraced " while her body is healing, so they can appear again and again as her body is able to heal itself. +++You can only be sure she IS healing if she follows the program. +++My moderator's son had loss of pigment, and it went back to normal on this program. He is 4 years old. > > I have explained to her that she has to stay with the plan and that she really isn't following the entire plan yet and that we have many things to take away and add...she is not happy and very stubborn. any advice on this one guts, +++Education and involvement helps with 4 years old, and they do understand, so she can too.
