Guest guest
You said - Vinegar is good for the immune system. > > I enjoy wine, and always find my stomach better in the evening after a glass or two. Is this the same as vinegar? (Was it St that suggested to to drink a little wine for the stomach) I know lots with CFS cant tolerate alcohol, but I don't have that problem. What do you think? Guest guest
I just wrote you a lengthy response to this same message you posted on the Live Right list, about how the website food lists -- all of them -- are now obsolete. A1+NSa+b-MN www.shaklee.net/tiger__medicine tenzin@... vinegar most vinegars are avoids for the O diet. rice is a nuetral, so how about rice vinegar? i've printed out the food for O type, and there are conflicts between that list and the book. is there a place other than foodforyourblood.com to get a more complete list? Guest guest
> i looked all over dadam.com, and couldn't find any lists. could you hep the challenged and point me???<<< Have you looked to the left on the home page about where Today's Ask a Question topic is given? In the Knowledge bases click on Nutrition and then data base 1. Put in the name of the food and it will give you what it is for all blood types and your secretor status. I don't know how recent these lists are. Hope this helps.
Guest guest
In Live Right, apple cider vinegar is OK for type O secretors, but is an avoid for non-secretors. In the lists coming in for our patients from sdale, a type O list says only white, balsamic and red wine are listed as avoids (actually it says to use minimally or rarely). The others aren't listed, which we have been taught means they are neutral. This list is dated June 30 for an O+ secretor, MM. A1+NSa+b-MN www.shaklee.net/tiger__medicine tenzin@... vinegar thanks all for getting me to the dadamo site. but, golly darn, all vinegars are avoids for O secretors, and non-secretors. oh! well! jim O+

Guest guest
Hi you'll (yes, I'm originally from Texas.), The confusion comes in because if you ask for Apples in the Nutrition site it says Apple Cider Vinegar is Neutral. When you ask about vinegar, it list rice, balsamic, cider, and white as avoid. > > thanks all for getting me to the dadamo site. but, golly darn, all > > vinegars are avoids for O secretors, and non-secretors. oh! well! > Hummm, my LR4YT says that apple cider vinegar is now a neutral for O > secretors. Guest guest
Back in the dark ages when shampoos were rather harsh and one never dared to wash their hair every day, I rinsed my hair in vinegar too! Sure left my hair soft and " squeaky clean " as you said. I never buy those expensive cleaners. All I use is baking soda, vinegar and sometimes chlorine bleach. Guest guest
I have been known to use Mayo as a deep conditioner (don't leave it on too long or hair gets brittle) and vinegar is the best thing in the world for bee stings. Pour it on a paper towel and hold it on the sting. This works wonders. I didn't know about this until I was at a picnic and got stung and a lady handed me a paper towel soaked in it. Guest guest
I have found that I enjoy apple-cider vinegar -- mixed in hot water with honey. Seems to help clear the head before bed, and is a nice change away from tea or coffee. 1 teaspoon in a cup is a good way to start. Some people work up to a tablespoon. regards, Ken West From: " Tami Klumpyan " <tami@...> Reply-samters Date: Thu, 13 Mar 2003 13:24:03 -0600 <samters > Subject: Re: A Better Way to Better Balance Out of curiosity, do you know why I would have cravings for chlorine or vinegar? Guest guest
Belinda: Vinegar irritates the fragile stomachs and g-i tracts of us O-Types. Red wine vinegar, white vinegar, balsamic, etc, is simply too acidic. Apple cider vinegar is okay but it still tends to bother me, others may be different. An alkaline environment is far better for O-type bodies and digestion. Any other reasons for this, gang? >Why is vinegar so bad? > > >
