Guest guest
Due to the pain in my feet/legs, I haven't been spending much time in the kitchen the past few days. I actually ate a hamburger today, because my dear sig. other doesn't really cook (he can heat things up). So we each had hamburgers and Chinese/Korean chicken ginseng soup. I put coconut oil and butter in the last dose of it. Sam observed how much trouble I have had walking around... he suggested that I push myself from workstation to bathroom in my office chair, which works pretty well. I'm still wearing the knee brace, but the pain and giving-way sensations have eased off. However, then I had the idea that I could use the office chair in the kitchen. Since I'm tall, I'm able to do a bunch of things while still sitting down. So... for the first time in a couple of days, I made myself a plateful of eggs. This makes me feel more hopeful. I'm a little scared of what I might have to go through in order to heal. But being able to scoot around on the office chair at least takes some of the wear and tear off my legs. So... other than driving, I will have to walk up and down the inside staircase. I may have Sam move one of the other office chairs upstairs so that I can scoot while doing chores up there... such as sorting dirty laundry and taking care of the cats. Also, because I've been really scared of all this, I had still been taking some supplements for diabetes that were not on your plan: Alpha-lipoic acid (helps neuropathic pain and blood sugar levels), chromium (yeast-free formula), vanadyl sulfate, and Coenzyme Q10. I'm using plenty of diluted oil of oregano on my legs. I still have a rash on my right leg above the ankle. The feet are swollen and tender. As soon as I've posted this, I am going to haul myself up the stairs to get some sleep. Thanks again, Bee! Pam Maltzman
