Guest guest
I know there isn't a " cure " to the stomach flu but does anything actually help settle the stomach or lessen the vomitting? First my baby got it, now my 2 girls have it who are 10 and 8. The only thing I know of is sipping on Gingerale. They have it all - diarrhea & fever too. It's like a very bad & sudden flu that is going around quickly in my area. I'm so hoping the rest of my family doesn't get it too! Ugh! All flu, colds, coughs, diarrhea, vomiting, etc. are detoxifying symptoms, since our bodies create mucus in order to get rid of toxins, so they are typical die-off/detoxifying symptoms too - see this article which talks about flu-like symptoms being part of the healing processes: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal2.php Also, no one can " catch " any bugs of any kind anyway; they are all created within each person's body in order to clean itself up of toxins - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/germ12.php So you do not want to suppress those symptoms. Raw ginger tea is good for vomiting: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/recipes/recipe178.php You should put your children on an all liquid/pureed food diet which includes Bee's Egg Drink, soup, broths and cooked and blended meats and vegetables (until they are like baby food). Also help their detoxification by giving them Epsom salt baths, and by rubbing them down completely with olive or coconut oil. Ensure they rest and get good nutrients so their bodies can get through this. Your children will get better more quickly if you don't try to stop the symptoms. (none are on this diet except me). +++Hi Kimmie. Whether your Mom or your children are on this program or not, they will still get those symptoms because their bodies need to detoxify. Also read the reference about not being able to " catch " any bugs that I gave you. All the best, Bee
