Guest guest
I have read Bee's site and several of the other suggested pages, and have searched the messages, and can not find anything about coffee other than coffee enemas! Is Coffee ok for the Candida diet? Also, I am finding list after list of all the foods I CAN'T have, but not many normal foods that I can. Health food stores are not very plentiful around here. I hope this isn't a recurring question but is there anywhere that can give a basic starter diet that tells you what to eat and take week by week? (using basic ingredients assuming the dieter is not also a chef) ) I am a big snacker and that is where I'm having the most trouble. I don't have easy access to a kitchen sometimes and am hungry all the time. I'm also on the go nonstop. My big snack had been cashews. I carried a tin of them around with me everywhere but then I thought I heard they are not allowed on the diet! I need help getting started on this diet, and I know all the stuff I can't eat -I need to know someof the simpleeasy tasty things I CAN eat! ) Oh I have a recipe I enjoy, thought I'd share w/ y'all to see if it's actually allowed, and if so, perhaps you might enjoy trying it! (letme know if it's got something not allowed on teh diet) I call it Buckwheat Coconut Chicken: First I slice a chicken breast in half longways (to make two thinner chicken breasts), then in a bowl I combine an egg with sea salt and garlic, then on a plate I pour some buckwheat flour and cream of buckwheat and mix it up. THEN, I put a skillet on the stove on medium-high and get it nice and hot as I finish. NOW, dip the chicken in the egg mixture, then the buckwheat mixture. Throw in a teaspoon of both coconut oil and butter in the saute pan and place the chicken breasts in the pan and cover. Let brown for 3 or so minutes on each side, checking frequently to not burn, then I turn the flame down to med-low and cook until the center is white (I just cut a small slit in it to check). Hope y'all like it! I make this as chicken nuggets for my kids as well and they love it! (just chop up the chicken into smaller pieces and beat it with a meat tenderizing hammer thingie) )
