Guest guest
> > I've just started the diet and getting on the required supp's. In coming off refined carbs, I am dwindling down to 100 lbs (and I am 5'9 " ). I have gluten, soy, dairy (wasn't eating it anymore anyways) allergies, and very close on the egg allergy... +++Hi . Please do not change over to the diet too quickly. You must do it slowly and gradually by following my article " Curing Candida, How to Get Started " http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php +++Please read why you can't possible be allergic to good unadulterated foods like eggs: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal14.php +++Of course anyone with candida cannot have gluten or dairy products except butter, and soy is damaging to anyone's health. > > Suggestions to maintain my weight? I am going thru 6 tbsp/day of coconut oil already, and some EVOO too, just taking this stuff by the tablespoonful. NO nuts/seeds and those were my main caloric intake. +++Weight is the least of your problems when you have candida, since all carbs (foods that are not classified as protein or fat) feed candida, and they also feed bacteria and cancer. While your body is healing it will also put all of its resources into getting healthy, so putting on weight or muscles is the least of its concerns. As you progress on this program your weight will normalize to what it should be, just like myself and many others have experienced. +++At one time on my candida program in 1985 I was losing 3 lbs. per day and yet my weight stabilized and eventually increased. Now I am a very healthy 133 lbs at 5' 6 " ! +++However, if you went on this program too fast you may have to backtrack and add some carbs back in and take more time to get onto this program. > > Also, if my sodium tested too high on hair analysis (sodium/potassium very high, was told I needed kidney flush at the time), is it ok for me to take the Sea Salt daily? +++There are too many other nutrients involved in having high levels of sodium and potassium in your hair, so I wouldn't go by that test. +++Actually sodium and potassium work on either side of the cell membrane in order to regulate water outside and inside the cell, so you couldn't be too high in both of them. However, for minerals to be absorbed and utilized in the cells you must have enough of the good fats I recommend, along with all of the other nutrients of course. All nutrients work together. +++If you are concerned start with 1/2 tsp of ocean sea salt a day and gradually increase it to 1 1/2 tsp over a 2 week period of time. Having enough sea salt is so important for your adrenals which are malfunctioning and overly stressed when you have candida. Guest guest
Thanks, Bee! Also, what effect overall does this diet have on the body's alkalinity? I saw it mentioned a couple times in the reading. I also know raw foodists claim it's best to eat all alkaline and living foods (ie, that disease loves an acidic body). How is it they are claiming to overturn cancer, disease, etc, by eating such a different diet plan than yours? I have an alkaline water system. Ok to use on your eating plan? And you said additional supp's are out. Even milk thistle, if I know I need it? Thanks,

Take a look at the articles on Bee's website at this link for more info: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu5_1.php There are a lot of people who claim their diets cure various diseases. And some actually work. I don't doubt that some folks have cured themselves by eating a raw diet. That does not however mean that it necessarily works for everyone or is a diet that is supporting immune system health, which is what Bee's plan has been designed to do. Plus, many people who have candida also have poor digestion. Raw food is more difficult to digest than lightly cooked food...so a raw plan is not really good for kicking candida. > I have an alkaline water system. Ok to use on your eating plan? Guest guest
Hi : **Welcome. I just want to tag on to what Jackie wrote you about a raw food diet, because in my many years of trying to get healthy I was actually a raw fooder for 2 years. I found it to be a very lonely diet... you can't eat out anywhere, hardly. And friends don't want to come to your house for dinner. LOL! It is also very high in sugars and very low in good fats. It is cleansing in the sense that you are not putting a lot of toxic foods in your body, but the balance is way off on the carb-fat ratios. I actually think I made myself sicker by my foray into raw foods. And without much animal protein (you can eat raw meat, but I was a vegetarian at the time) I really depleted my body on this diet. So, my experience of raw food eating actually made me sick(er). Best to you, Marissa > There are a lot of people who claim their diets cure various diseases. And some actually work. Guest guest
Thank you so much for this insight. I know I am overcome by candida, and everyone seems to tell me a different diet is the " one " for me. It just makes sense to give Bee's protocol a try; my immune system is severely depressed and every system is just starting to break down on me! The testimonials keep me encouraged, I read through them at least once a week to keep me going! I am so glad I found this group, I never even knew the value of a healthy fat before Bee's website. Thanks for all you guys do! > > Hi : > > **Welcome. Guest guest
Thanks, Jackie! Alkaline water system is a purification system (filters out the chlorine/fluoride overload where I live) and gives the water a higher pH charge, to help alkaline the body some. Water tastes delicious! Milk thistle- was told by naturopath I need it for liver support. Before I read about Bee's exclusion of 'flushing', I had been doing several liver/gallstone flushes (and oh god, at the stones that came out of little old me!). Like all my organs, I know my liver needs help. Your thoughts, please? I do not want to take anything " the Bee " does not recommend. > > > Also, what effect overall does this diet have on the body's alkalinity? I saw it mentioned a couple times in the reading. Guest guest
You are very welcome . You can't go wrong following Nature's Fundamental Laws on health. God didn't make any stupid bodies, and Nature gets it right, so it's Back to Nature! Onward & upward! Bee > > Thank you so much for this insight. Water tastes delicious! +++Hi . We are very familiar with the claims made about alkaline water systems. First, the alkalinity/acidity balancing theory (pH) is a non-issue when it comes to health - see these articles: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu5_1.php +++Second, I recommend you filter out chlorine and other contaminants from your regular tap water with a simple inexpensive charcoal filter like Brita or PUR. They do not filter out fluoride, however people on this program eliminate all other sources of fluoride so the small amount in tap water is easily detoxified on this program. +++It is more important to get all of the natural minerals Mother Nature provides than to be overly concerned about some contaminants. We have to pick our battles wisely. > > Milk thistle- was told by naturopath I need it for liver support. Like all my organs, I know my liver needs help. Your thoughts, please? +++There are so many things on my program that help your liver, and mainly it is the " good " fats - of course all nutrients work together. +++If you have a painful liver I recommend you do coffee enemas and maybe a castor oil pack.
