Guest guest
e. has those. She has broke out from all over to just in spots. Her doctor said it was skin infections. She gives her cephlexin for it and it goes away. Until another out break comes. Getting into a pool caused melissa to break out more guess because of the chemicals. Its part of the JRA. also uses a medication cream for it. Robbin
Guest guest
e. gets those skin eruptions often. Yes, the Kelflex is great for it. Why they come up beats me. Several parents at the conference asked me about them also. I was talking to one parent and she showed me her sons head. It was like seeing theres more of a connection with this JRA and its effects that are not told to us. Word of mouth among the group talking with parents who see that this is more than affecting the joints. has had break outs so many times and the doctor said go see a skin dr. The skin doctor isnt familar with it either. One doctor told us it was acne. LOLOLOL. But all over the body? I have met to many parents to just say its acne now. Kids with JRA no matter what age gets it. SOOOOOOOOOO lolol. My best bet is it's caused by the JRA another symtom? You got it. Because of the similaritys of acne and the eruptions the doctor says it is acne. I myself never have seen a child under 12 with acne have you? Guest guest
e. Your daughter is having the skin eruptions as is doing. At this age it is more of a pain. Teenage years. has gotten to where she uses about everything for the face. Theres times where its really bad. I have watched how the spots start. To me it dont spread at all, you cant catch it. It just erupts when and where it wants to. I notice how itchy it gets and watched where scratches next , strange how it dont spread. I do wonder why such a pattern of where they break out. Guest guest
Hi Bee and all, I continue to have skin eruptions due to my lupus. I did the nine day program before Thanksgiving, and for awhile afterwards, I thought they were beginning to clear. The oldest places on my face aren't too red, but still there. I keep getting more of them, though, and my face looks pretty sad. My 50th birtday was yesterday, so definitely feel I look my age right now. Yesterday when I got up my shoulders and upper back where I have a lot of the lesions were really tender and sore, and those places have mostly gotten real red again. They also have a scabby looking ring around the edge of each spot. The " scabs--dry skin " around edges eventually flake or wash off, but then I get more later on. So I'm guessing those places are still belching toxins. I plan on an empsom salt bath later for this. I did a coffee enema last Sat--first one in a while. I'm considering doing another nine day program, but I've been reading about other ways of detoxing--i.e. increasing supplements esp Vit C. Has anyone with skin issues found relief or lessening of symptoms by doing this, or is this type of symptom relief more for colds, acute sypmtoms? I've been rubbing CO on the places and just started rubbing extra virgin olive oil on them, too. The CLO smells everything up so much I haven't been rubbing it on. Thanks so much Leesa
