Guest guest
Hi, I am sure this has been discussed before but found it was hard to search for in past messages. I would like to know the kind of food we can all eat once healed. It would be nice to see a typical day of eating from Bee, Jackie, Zack and anyone else that has healed themselves on this diet and are on to their lifetime diet. Thanks for any inspiration! I usually don't have any starchy vegetables at home, like potatoes. Every morning I have Bee's Egg Drink. I eat sauerkraut, kimchi, homemade pickles (my daughter makes them), and some olives. Meats: bison, pork roast, bacon, chicken, beef, shrimp, oysters, sardines, Albacore tuna, chicken & beef liver, pickled herring, Wild Caught Salmon. I make my own bone broths using pork hocks & feet or chicken. I use bacon grease and unrefined coconut for cooking. I make my own mayonnaise and salad dressing, and use health food store yellow mustard and ketchup. I soak and dry nuts, but don't have them very often. I rarely have grains, so my sourdough bread is kept in the freezer. For fruits I only have lemons, limes, and applesauce on pork. I have the highest butterfat dairy I can get, i.e. cheese, cream, sour cream, so I take less calcium and magnesium supplements than on this program. I take 500-1,000 mg vitamin C per day and 100 mg niacin (B3), and only when stressed or I get toxins do I take more of them. I take the same amounts of cod liver oil, and Vitamin B Complex as on this program. I couldn't find a vitamin E that didn't contain soy so I'm not taking any. When I'm stressed I take hydrochloric acid as needed. Bee
Guest guest
Hi Shari, My diet is also very similar to this one although, I have added a few things that are not part of the program. I always liked cereal in the a.m. so I have a small bowl of shredded wheat & bran with a wee bit of rice milk. I know Bee doesn't recommend it (cereal or rice milk), but it's my choice. I eat many of the same meats that Bee mentioned (except for oysters, ick!) and I stay very low-carb with my veggies. I rarely eat potatoes or winter squash but will have them every now and then. Like today, I'm going to put a beef roast in the crock pot and I'm going to cook it with some onions and one potato. I just felt like having one today. Most days I just have meat or eggs and low-carb veggies for my meals. I cook with butter and bacon fat. Every now and then I will have pasta or rice, but it's a rare occasion. Last night I went out with some friends and enjoyed pizza and a beer. I have a glass of beer or wine once a week or so. When I go out I try to limit carbs but I don't restrict myself. My body will sometimes feel a bit " itchy " the next day but I know it's gotten right on the ball with detoxing the offending foods and the symptoms aren't severe and don't last long. If I feel a bit of indigestion I like to drink sauerkraut juice. I don't make my own sauerkraut but I do keep a good quality store-bought sauerkraut in my fridge and drink it's juice. It's actually good! I do drink coffee and I put 1/2 & 1/2 and a bit of CO in it. I rarely have fruit in the house. But, for a snack I like some almonds and few dried cranberries and some solid CO. I just kind of lump it all together and to me it's like a " candy " treat. I still take all the supplements that are part of this program.
