Guest guest
Hello! My three year old has been diagnosed with yeast and worms. He is on Shell Flour for the worms (per the Dr.'s orders) and I'm giving him coconut oil right now for the yeast. He's been on the diet for about a month and half. Though he has had a few cheats since then. None for about 2 weeks though. His main symptoms that caused us to find out what was wrong were: IBS type symptoms of bloating and stomach aches Frequent loose stool Brightly colored stool Very foul stool Smelly skin and breath and hair Thus far the bloating is gone, the IBS is gone, the smelling is gone --- but he is still left with all the stool issues. I'm curious as to what your opinion is on how long this should continue before I should be concerned that we aren't doing something right, are missing something or what not. Also - he is getting so many vegetables per day (this kid never ate them before and LOVES them now!), that I'm wondering if that is playing into the loose stools now too? (smell and color?) If this Shell Flour doesn't work for the worms, do you have any other recommendations? Or will I need to get a medication from a traditional MD? I'm so thrilled to see some improvement, but seeing NO results with his stool has me a little worried maybe we aren't doing something right. Thank you in advance for your time and understanding.
