Hey Keri:

**** I definitely found that when I first started the program that when I

indulged in wine, I felt the effects for the next day or two. Also, it's

interesting you mention back pain, because I do have bouts of lower back pain

that come and go and it's definitely toxins moving around. It is not related to

muscle strain or sleeping issues.

**** No the weekly two-hour timeframe cheats are for anyone who feels they need

it. And also, the good news with Bee's program is that the cheats don't set you

back to square one because you are also taking the supplements, increasing your

fats, and lowering your toxin exposure and these do so much to strengthen your

immune system. So let this encourage you to get your supplements and oils

ordered so you can start using them.

**** I am truly coming to the conclusion that a major part of alcohol addiction

is actually sugar addiction/yeast issues. These make your body crave the sugar

in alcohol (alcohol also has some other effects like memory reduction and other

" useful " /destructive coping mechanisms that can be part of the total addiction

picture) but I think some of the difficulty in withdrawl and staying sober is

because people don't know that they may need to deal with the sugar/yeast/diet

aspect of their disease. I see so many reformed alcoholics who are pounding

down sugared coffee and baked goods and chain-smoking (a hidden sugar source)

and don't realize that they just exchanged one form of sugar for others. I

believe Bee's diet would be a hugely successful part of any recovery program.

**** It's really amazing how your taste buds change when you switch over to

burning fat for fuel. I see soooo many posts on this forum from " newbies "

expressing concern about their sugar cravings and wondering how they will ever

be able to give up potatoes or chocolate or something, or asking about when they

can eat " normally " again (ie: when can I have sugar?!?!). And I always hope

that they'll hang in there for the " switching " point when it truly becomes a

non-issue.

Best to you!

Marissa
