Guest guest
I never counted grams or calories in my first challenge. I would use Myoplex lite bars in a pinch and I never worried that they were a little low. Other meals you eat will be higher in protein and I think it all balances out. I probably ate one bar every other day and was fine. Lynda

Guest guest
A young male acquaintance I know at the grocery store was not sleeping, tested negative for sleep apnea, but was functioning on four hours of sleep at night. Melatonin did not work for him, but eating turkey before bedtime allowed him to get six hours of sleep and start getting more rested. in La Selva Beach CA Re: Central Fatigue Does anyone get sleepy just eating turkey - a good source of tryptophan? a Tryptophan; not okay in the morning, when trying to get cranking; excellent in the evening when needing to unwind. Best at bedtime, actually. Once in a while, when I have taken too much energy -making stuff and feel wired, am spinning my wheels, I take trypto in the afternoon. It's a helluva way to live but best I know of right now. Adrienne

I'm cc'ing him on this in hopes he can post. You can search his name and the word Turkey in our archives for a lot of info. Ziegler visited there in 2000, I think, and she can share some insight. Look in our Photo section under Butch in the Turkish Rose fields. His wife and baby are with him, nice bunch of photos. Still I have some more things that I need to know . It's not clear to me what I should do so that I could see the whole process that goes on with the roses - because both Butch and Debbie said they had some Turkish friends that were living there and I don't know any locals that might help me with this. So I don't know what to do exactly -should I try to find some email addresses and contact someone or... what is your advice? Also about the accommodation does anyone know any place (hotel or something) that I could stay in and that is not too far from the area? Thanks, Kisses and hugs Ioana --------------------------------- Get your own web address. Have a HUGE year through Small Business.

By now there might even be commercial flights to Isparta so you wont have to take that 10 hour bus ride.........like we have done a few times. Guest guest
We'll be arriving in Istanbul on May 15, 2007 ... Butch advised that to get to the rose fields it is a pretty long trip. Sigh .... we have some private tours arranged for a few days in Istanbul before we board a cruise ship that will take us to various ports in Turkey, Croatia and Greece. I guess we will have to take one of www.aromatours.com ( I think it's the Turkish Odyssey tour) if we ever want to tour the rose fields. Once I found out how far Isparta was from Istanbul I realized that my desire to visit the rose fields and distillers would not become a reality - at least not on this trip. I count myself fortunate to have visited the lavender fields and a few distilleries in the Provence region of France with Rosemary Gladstar in May of 2006. -- Be Well, Bobbi Guerra The Purple Sage ~ Bath & Body www.thepurplesage.com

Guest guest
-Hi Niall, Yes,I visited that place,I am Turkish. They work on intense, individual programmes with each child. The oldest child is I think 19.Some kids stay there with their life coaches (they call it..) away from their parents, some families also rent flats, houses and send the kids the centre on a daily basis. They have also summer programmes which I am interested. They are particularly experienced with the kids who show challenging behaviours. However parents with the kids who are on ASD spectrum values more sportive activities now as a safe and healthy way to approach to autism. Kids are improving in terms of general health, sportive abilities, coordination and social skills. These are my distant observation as a base on families sharing.I wanted to create the similar approach together with their support, but it is difficult here. The founder of the place is a member from my parents group. If you would like to contact them, perhaps I may help, you may contact me off the list. nevin
Guest guest
Hi Niall and Nevin, Thank you so much for sharing this video clip. The young girl did amazingly well on this programme of sporting activities and the difference in her movements is very apparent. It sure would be interesting to see a similar programme here in the UK as this would be of so much more benefit for all concerned. Have you thought about approaching the challenging behaviour foundatation in the UK to ask for some help in setting something up like this? x Re: turkey -Hi Niall,Yes,I visited that place,I am Turkish. Guest guest
-Hello , I used the term for challenging behaviour perhaps it is not right, that's what I felt according the information about the kids watching their video clips..But what I know all kids are on the ASD spectrum, most of them have self stimuli behaviours, some of them have rituals ,some of them have self-injurious behaviours , tantrums as some of you may remember early clip of this girl. Most of them have limited communication skills except the 19 year old boy who is communicating via writing. He expresses quiet high level of his ideas, feeling what he is doing there, the way of how he is living.. If anyone interested more about their approach, someone from the place can be invited here..I am sure they have lots of comparative video clips, more accurate information about the kids in their hand.. nevin
Guest guest
Hi Bee, this is Angie in Az. I hope and pray all is well with you and I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving day. Do you celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada? Thank for the help you are to me You answer are the reason I can daycare my 11 month grandaughter and have the energy to do everything required to run a home and so much more. Your answers to my questions bring me life. I remember when I first found your website, I had been praying and asking God, " you a Lord are the one that can lead me " , I was at a stand still to total healing. Boy I thought this is a really different way of eating, it did seem quite bazzar. I had tried several other things and I still couldn't find the missing link. Strange as it seemed, I thought I would give it a try. I so glad I did, You are an awesome lady to care about others that suffer with Candida like you did so many years ago. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I do want you to know that I have been doing this diet with some cheats but I am realizing that my healing will speed up if I don't cheat. I am having progress with family and friends as they see my progress into good health, they want to know what it is that I am doing. Some are changing a little at a time, so what you do is worth it's weight in more than gold. My question to you is what can I do with a turkey that is not free range. A friend gave us a turkey, the package says no msg added, gluten free. How would I prepare it or should I throw it out since it's probably loaded with sodium and hormones. If I can do something with it, would be better. Angie
