Guest guest
Dear Jim, You are taking too much, I would guess. Just two drops per glass of water, and it is not bad at all. Best of Health! Guest guest
Dear Arthur, I would suspect it is the magnesium in the Concentrace that is calming you. I don't know the answers to your other questions. Best of Health! Guest guest
Hi Art, Not Saul, but ............ I muscletest strong for dulse and not for kelp. Now to be honest, I can't tell the difference. I take some liquid product that says it has it all in it. I can, however tell a difference in my ability to hold muscles where they belong when I smear on Lugol's. Want to try some WaterOz minerals one of these day$$ SaraLou concentrace saul i tried the concentrace again recently and the effect is very dramatic. seems to calm my nervous system down alot and improve circulation. i had always thought of these two symptoms as having to do with my thyroid problem and mercury. i'm wondering what in the concentrace is doing what or if it is a synergistic effect from all the trace minerals or maybe it's just the iodide, who knows. i tsake sea salt but notice no positive effects from the iodine in it. i notice a very dramatic effect from kelp so maybe it's just a matter of amount since kelp is loaded with iodine, or is the particular form of iodine very important for thyroid function. also lithium is in there and it has some sort of calming effect for some people. i'm wondering if lithium displaces mercury or if it has an affinity for it. Guest guest
Hi, This is the only supplement which to date I have been able to tolerate. It really had a very positive effect on my cns back in 2000, but like you I was concerned about the trace level of arsenic, and now use it more sparingly. It's a pity it can't be refined enough to remove the heavy metal trace and as you allude, possible pcb etc contamination from the sea. I feel it is an essentially good product, but I suppose we need care with all these things. Rosie From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of j mascis Sent: 10 May 2007 04:28 Subject: Concentrace http://www.traceminerals.com/products/drops.html I went to the local health foods store and asked what kind of multi- mineral they had, since I get cluster headaches when I take multi- vitamins and can't take them, and the guy said people were buying this stuff. I'm kind of a skeptic about such things, but when I read the label, it said it supplied like 62% rda of magnesium, and just about everything else was trace. I wasn't looking for trace minerals, was hoping for a multi-mineral, but the magnesium caught my eye. However, when I looked at other trace mineral bottles, I noticed ingredients like lead and arsenic. Either that, or it said they were removed, or some such stuff, but I think some minerals listed were ones that people were advised to avoid. Probably not much, but still, no thanks to the heavy metals. And this stuff says after listing what it contains, " Plus the other minerals found in sea water. " So I'm guessing they don't feel like advertising the bad ones. My question is this. Does anybody know about this stuff? Does anyone know about any sites where people critique stuff? I'd like to get the low down on this stuff, and I could use a magnesium supplement, but not a regular dose of heavy metals. Thanks.
Guest guest
I use it every day - I have an RO system, so minerals needed to be added before drinking the water. I can't say that I can really tell any difference in the way I feel from taking it though. ConcenTrace Has anybody tried using that product? http://www.tracemin erals.com/ products/ drops.html Recommended in the book 21 Days to a Healthy Heart. Guest guest
I use it every day. We have a reverse osmosis water purifier which of course removes minerals from the water in the purification process, so I add ConcenTrace minerals back to remineralize and alkalize the water. I use 2 drops per cup as that is what I can tolerate in terms of taste. I believe it is a very good source of minerals, especially magnesium which is in short supply in food these days.
