Guest guest
Tom...what reason did they give for letting those people go? Is your state an " at will " work state? Mine is. They can let you go without even giving you a good reason. I had a stroke Nov 2008, was out on company temporary disability (getting $133 a week...$150 after taxes.. whoo hoo) was in physical therapy and was let go...they said my position was " eliminated " . How freakin convenient. I called multiple lawyers and was told the same thing... in Michigan, an at will employer can just " let you go " whenever " just because " . I had no recourse. I know they let me go because they knew I had spinal issues and now with a stroke and being at high risk for more they considered me a medical liability. But try and prove it. ine .. Re: Feedback needed I agree with you. But I have seen what reality is... Last month 2 more people I worked with were let go from Discover Card. They both had cancer and were in remission. But both had a very high probability that eventually it would kill them... It certainly sounds like an obvious case of discrimination but the company went through an exhaustive learning program to learn how to bend the rule.. What does a person who is living close to the vest do against a company of lawyers ?? Guest guest
Danny, I had a lot of neck pain, when I was working as a home care nurse, because it involved a lot of driving. I also had some issues with depression because I was weaning off my anti depressant. I felt I moaned, & complained about my neck pain too much. I have an uncanny sense of humor, & I made a comment that made my co workers think I was going to go postal. I said if I had a gun I would shoot myself to put myself, & everyone else out of their misery. My misery was my severe pain, & their misery was having to hear me complain. Their interpretation was that I was going to shoot myself, & everybody in the office. Needless to say the corporate office was called, & they came to take me out of the office, & I was put out of work until the situation could be investigated. Upon investigation, they felt that I could not handle the job emotionally, or physically, so I was let go with 3 months severance pay, & full benefits. The best part is that they never discussed this with any of my future employers, or the Board of Nursing. June Re: Feedback needed and some people wonder why others go " postal " ..... Guest guest
> > Dear Bee and All, > > Warm greetings from sunny but windy Montreal! Bee, I would like to give you an update on my progress and ask you a question. I had to stop taking all antifungals (except for the 6 tablespoons of coconut oil), as well as the electrolyte drink because I couldn't " stomach " the die-offs. I feel so much better now (no more anxiety, brain fog, fatigue, food cravings and binges etc...). The only thing I have noticed is that my abdomen (including my stomach) is always slightly swollen and it feels like air bubbles are trapped inside (toxins?). I'm not taking HLC since it burns when I do, and I have discontinued sauerkraut because of sever die-off. I never have any stomach pain, but occasionally, I have constipation. Should I be concerned about the swollenness? My thighs are also swollen with liquid or air, I can't judge. +++Hi Helene. Warm greetings to you too! Your swollen stomach is caused by candida being killed off which produced carbon dioxide (gas) which causes bloating and a feeling like air is inside. Your thighs are probably swollen because of water retention. If you've ever had that in the past your body will retrace it while it is healing - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal10.php Also see this article on Water Retention: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal10.php If you don't consume enough fats in relation to protein you can get constipated. You may need to lower your protein intake a little some days unless you consume enough good fats, or increase your fats - see Curing Candida, How to Get Started: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php Cheers, Bee
