Guest guest
Hi bee, This is Neary. How are you? I have been on your program since Oct. 2008. I feel wonderful bee! However, I began to gain weight since May of 2009 and up until now, I am unable to lose the pounds. I am 5'0 and I was a slim 105 pds. Now I am 125 pds! Like you, I had thyroid issue. I had a goiter and whatever I eat, I just won't gain at all. The goiter size down tremendously. Anyway, I remember that when I was little I use to take Flintstones vitamin and when I was a teenager I use to take breast enhancer pills -=[...and for several years I took bad multivitamin call " centrum " . Is this the cause of me having this weight on me for so long? It has been 5 months. I thought I lost some but i actually weight more. Today I was 128 pds. Can muscle build up?..is that why i might weight more?..I dont know bee..and now I have ROSACEA on my face as well...*sigh*..Please help...I don't mind a consultation. Lots of love, Neary
Guest guest
Hi Gail, I was a skinny and am now a buxom specimen! How long it takes I'm sure varies just like the healing time depending on how poorly you were in the first place. Keep the faith, it will all come in time. All the best > > I would like to know if there are any skinny's out there who have gained any weight. And if so, how long into the diet did it take you? It's pretty depressing to think that it might take 2-5 years to gain needed weight back? thanks, Gail (Curlygirl) >
Guest guest
Hi Gail... I initially lost 10 pounds (that I didn't need to lose!) and got lots of concerned comments. I started gaining it back after 4 months- now I am at the perfect weight. Hang in there... in VA ________________________________ From: Bee <beeisbuzzing2003@...> Sent: Mon, September 13, 2010 9:23:35 AM Subject: [ ] Re: Weight Issues > > I would like to know if there are any skinny's out there who have gained any >weight. What makes you think it'll take you 2-5 years? Bee
Guest guest
Bee, when I talked to you on the phone, I asked you about how long it would take to start putting the weight back on..and you told me about 4 months..(you have to understand...I am 5'7 " and now 113 lbs) I've lost weight that I desperately need on this diet. I have sunken cheeks that are worse than when I started, not only rib bones sticking out in front but now also back bones and shoulder bones sticking out..and not to mention no breasts left..I look like someone with an eating disorder I've been totally covered for the last 2 months in the hot weather because of not wanting to cause Gasps from people. I commented to someone in the group who was also concerned about weight...I told them that you said it would take about 4 months for the weight to start coming back and you corrected me and said it could take years if not completely until you are healed. So that's where the 2 to 5 years came from. I know for sure I've been sick for at least 20 years. Maybe since I've been born? I think the emotional stress of being so thin is not conducive to healing. I've been on this diet for almost 3 months now and am not gaining an ounce. I'm afraid that if I loose any more weight....I'll have to stop the diet. Does this diet really work for everyone? Gail....(curlygirl) > > > > I would like to know if there are any skinny's out there who have gained any weight. And if so, how long into the diet did it take you? I would never tel anyone when they can expect to start putting on weight, since I wouldn't presume that, and no one could possibly know. +++What I would say, and have said many times, regarding 4 months is: " It takes about 4 months for your body to switch over from running on carbs/glucose to running on fats as a source of energy. I've lost weight that I desperately need on this diet. I'm afraid that if I loose any more weight....I'll have to stop the diet. Does this diet really work for everyone? +++I also lost tons of weight on my candida program. For awhile I was losing 3 lbs. per day. I saw my holistic doctor every week day so my weight was checked. But My weight normalized somewhere along the way to curing my candida. I looked very emancipated, like a person who is starving too, and many other people have reported that happening to them as well. I was on my program 4-6 months before I stopped losing weight, but I don't recall how long it was until I started gaining again since that was 25 years ago. +++Obviously someone else on the group didn't give you the correct advice, since no one would know when " your specific body " will normalize. +++Having low weight doesn't mean you are more unhealthy; it's means your body is using all of its energy and resources to heal and detoxify for the time being. If you are following this program accurately your body is getting all the nutrients any human body requires in order to heal itself the way Nature and God intended. All the best, Bee
Guest guest
Thanks for the support , I think I'll stick around for 4 months and see what happens...I've been on the diet for going on three. I keep seeing 4 months for all kinds of things....Maybe Bee misunderstood my question...but I know what I was told because I'm so distressed about my weight loss. Thanks again.....Gail > > > > I would like to know if there are any skinny's out there who have gained any > >weight. And if so, how long into the diet did it take you? Guest guest
Hi Gail, I also looked like an anorexic for a while. I think you must try and be patient. 3 months is a very short time to be on this diet. Depending on how ill you were and how long, detoxing and healing can take a long time. > > > > > > I would like to know if there are any skinny's out there who have gained any weight. Guest guest
Gail, that's exactly where I was- 5' 7 114... people were telling me how bad I looked and one dear friend sat me down and said I needed therapy. I just smiled and said not to worry, that I would gain it back. Now I've had my period 6 months in a row (something I find hard to believe) and I'm up to 125. These same people are starting to cut back on their carbs... Take care, ps... I eat a stick of butter daily. ________________________________ From: a_quinn66 <a_quinn66@...> Sent: Tue, September 14, 2010 7:50:47 AM Subject: [ ] Re: Weight Issues Hi Gail, I also looked like an anorexic for a while. Guest guest
Gail, the other thing that occured to me is that you may be rushing things a bit which is a big temptation with this diet. We are all so used to being able to suppress our symptoms straight away with allopathic medicine. Healing is a very different matter. 3 months isn't very much time to transition to this diet never mind heal. Don't overload your body with healing foods it will compromise the healing not speed it up. Best wishes, > > Gail, that's exactly where I was- 5' 7 114... people were telling me how bad I > looked and one dear friend sat me down and said I needed therapy.
