Guest guest
Hello to Bee and all ! This is in a nutshell my problem now; I've an old root canal in a lower pre-molar (abt 25+yrs) half of the tooth has been broken for abt 15 of those years and there is the mercury leakage in my gum (i think it's called mercury tattoo i am assuming from the mercury in my root canal). The tooth has hurt me very mildly intermittently and infrequently, however lately its been bugging me more. I know I will have to act and i dread the whole procedure more than i can say(not to mention i have terrible nerves, they have to 'gas me' to get a filling done! :S...) I will need the root canal redone, also a cap put on and I would like the mercury gone from my gum. While I was at the dentists and she was telling me how harmless mercury is, i cut her off and said i've heard too much and sorry i don't agree with her statement! I am seeking any and all advice please! I will be going to a different dentist for this, but it will be a new one for me who comes with good recommendations. Of course money (or lack thereof) is an issue . Thanks very much, Liya.
