I use coconut oil as a toothpaste sometimes, most of the time I just

use water. I never use town bought, it has flouride (very bad for you)

and several other carcinogenic ingredients in each of them. The

coconut oil is very good for the gums, I haven't discovered if it does

anything for the teeth or not.

I just pour a little into a small shallow cup, dip my toothbrush in

the coconut oil and brush for 3-5 minutes. Rinse the toothbrush out

well (occasionally I clean mine with hydrogen peroxide) then I clean

my teeth my waterpik after flossing and brushing thouroughly. I

alternate between Dr. Schultz's tooth and gum formula and food grade

3% hydrogen peroxide in the waterpik hopper. It has cleared up my

severe gum damage 98% with only one small red spot remaining.

try it myself. As I don't particuarly like coconut oil neat it takes a

certain amount of courage....
